FOR KIT USERS WHO ARE TIRED OF MANAGING TAGS ONE PAINFUL CLICK AT A TIME

Stop Managing Your Kit Account One Painful Click at a Time.

Clean up hundreds of tags and custom fields in a fraction of the time, and finally get a clear picture of your segments too — no subscriptions, no data sharing, no headache.

Just $27 for the first 100 people — then $47.

Sound Familiar?

If you’ve been in Kit for any length of time, your account has probably gotten a little messy. You know what’s in there. Kind of. But cleaning it up feels like a whole project you never have time for.

  • You have hundreds of tags and you’re not even sure what half of them are for anymore
  • You did a rebrand and now your old naming conventions are scattered everywhere
  • Updating a tag in Kit means: load the list, scroll forever, find the one, click, edit, save, go back, repeat — for every single one
  • You have custom fields with cryptic names left over from integrations you don’t even use anymore
  • You’re not totally sure what to delete because you don’t know what might break if you do
  • You know the mess is slowing you down, but you keep putting it off because it’s so tedious to fix

Good. Because it doesn’t have to be this hard. The problem isn’t you — it’s starting from scratch in a cluttered account every single time. That ends here.

Messy → Mapped Out → Actually Manageable

Meet the Kit Cleanup Manager

Kit Cleanup Manager is a tool that connects to your Kit account, pulls in all your tags, custom fields, and segments, and gives you a clean interface to review and organize everything at once.

Instead of hunting one by one in Kit, you get a bird’s-eye view — and the ability to rename tags or custom fields in bulk with a single click. Mark tags to delete + more.

Segments are read-only (that’s a Kit API limitation), but you’ll finally be able to see them all clearly and get a printable action plan to work through them in Kit.

It’s not a SaaS app. It’s not another subscription. It’s a local HTML file that runs in your browser — your data never touches a third-party server.

Here’s How It Works

A 4-step setup. Then you’re in your dashboard.

Tell It What Brands Are in Your Account

Add each brand with a short prefix — for example, “coh” or “es”. This is what the tool uses to suggest naming conventions and flag tags that don’t match.

Add Any Old Names to Migrate

If you’ve rebranded, enter your old name or abbreviation and map it to the new one. The tool automatically flags tags using the old naming as candidates for renaming.

Choose What You’re Cleaning Up

Select your goals: standardize tag names, migrate legacy brand names, flag dead tags, audit custom fields — or all of the above. This shapes what gets auto-suggested when the tool scans your account.

Connect Your Kit Account and Load

Enter your Kit v4 API key. Your key goes directly to Kit’s API from your browser — never logged, stored, or forwarded anywhere else. Hit “Load my Kit account” and your cleanup dashboard is ready.

Everything You Get

Everything you need to clean up your Kit account — from first scan to bulk apply.

  • Kit Cleanup Manager tool file — the file you run to generate your cleanup dashboard (Value: $97)
  • Tags cleanup interface — see all your tags, assign actions (keep, rename, or mark to delete), apply changes in bulk via the Kit API (Value: $67)
  • Custom fields cleanup interface — review and clean up old fields from past integrations, partnerships, and campaigns (Value: $47)
  • Segments overview and action plan — since the Kit API doesn’t support segment edits, you get a clear printable plan to work through manually in Kit (Value: $27)
  • Auto-suggest feature — the tool suggests rename conventions and flags candidates for deletion so you don’t have to start from scratch (Value: $47)
  • 100% local — the tool runs in your browser as an HTML file; your Kit data never passes through a third-party server (Value: $37)

Your data stays yours. Kit Cleanup Manager is a local file. It talks directly to Kit via your API key — nothing is stored, sent, or logged anywhere else. You’re not trusting your subscriber data to a random app on the internet.

Liz Stapleton, Creator Ops Hub founder

Hey, I’m Liz.

I built this tool because I needed it. I’ve been using Kit for nearly a decade, and my account had… accumulated some history. After my rebrand from Blogger Breakthrough to Creator Ops Hub, I had hundreds of tags with old naming conventions, custom fields I didn’t even recognize, and segments I wasn’t sure whether to keep or kill.

Doing it manually in Kit is genuinely painful. You have to load the list, find the tag, click it, edit it, save it, go back — and start all over. For every. single. one. I knew there had to be a better way, so I built it.

Kit Cleanup Manager isn’t a big complicated product. It does one thing: it makes cleaning up your Kit account not miserable. And if you’ve been avoiding this task for months (or years), you know that’s worth something.

Is This for You?

This is perfect for you if:

  • You’ve been in Kit for a while and your tags have multiplied
  • You recently rebranded and need to update your naming conventions
  • You have custom fields from old integrations you’ve never cleaned up
  • You want to understand what’s in your account before your next launch
  • You prefer to do things locally rather than hand your data to random apps

This probably isn’t for you if:

  • You just started in Kit and only have a handful of tags
  • You’re not on Kit (this tool is Kit-specific)
  • You want a fully automated cleanup with zero decision-making involved

Your Kit Account Deserves Better Than This

You’ve been putting off this cleanup for a reason: it’s tedious, time-consuming, and kind of overwhelming when you’re staring down 400+ tags. Kit Cleanup Manager gets it done without the pain.

First 100 people only at this price. Increases to $47 after.

Still got questions?

We’ve Got Answers.

Do I need to be technical to use this?

You’ll need to be comfortable downloading and opening a file. The setup guide walks you through every step.

Will renaming a tag break my automations?

Nope. Renaming a tag in Kit does not affect any rules, automations, or sequences that use that tag. The relationship is maintained; only the display name changes. Deleting a tag is different, it can impact automations and rules.

Is my subscriber data safe?

Yes. The tool runs locally in your browser and connects directly to Kit using your API key. Your data is never sent to or stored by any third-party server. It goes from Kit to your screen — that’s it.

Why can’t it update segments directly?

The Kit API doesn’t support segment modifications — that’s a Kit limitation, not a tool limitation. You get a full segment overview and a clear manual action plan to work through in Kit efficiently.

What email platform does this work with?

Kit only (formerly ConvertKit). It connects directly to the Kit API and is built specifically for Kit accounts.

What do I get when I purchase?

You’ll get access to the Kit Cleanup Manager project file and a setup guide to get connected. Everything you need to run your first cleanup is included.

Do I need any special software?

Just your Kit API key. The cleanup dashboard runs as a local HTML file in your browser — no installs, no accounts, no subscriptions.

Imagine This…

You open Kit and actually know what you’re looking at. Your tags make sense. Your naming conventions are consistent. You know exactly which custom fields are worth keeping and which ones are just noise from 2021. And instead of dreading your next launch setup, you can just get to work — because your account is finally in order.

That’s what a clean Kit account looks like. And it starts with having the right tool already built.
